I have had the pleasure to work with Sam in a professional and personal capacity. I highly recommend Sam for her exceptional skills, dedication, and compassion when supporting children and young people with additional needs. 

I first met Sam when I was seeking a highly skilled PA to work with my daughter, who has quite complex learning difficulties, including epilepsy and Autism. Sam was so patient, took time to get to find out what my daughter liked/disliked and they shared a similar sense of humour, needless to say my daughter and her hit it off straight away and she continues to PA for her 15 years on!

Sam has a natural ability to connect with children and young people of all abilities, creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where every young person feels valued. She is particularly gifted in designing and delivering sensory-based activities that not only support regulation and engagement but also foster learning, communication and above all confidence.

My daughter can become dysregulated often but Sam’s patience, creativity and understanding of her individual needs make her stand out as a practitioner. She is able to consistently adapt activities to suit different sensory profiles, ensuring every child can participate meaningfully.

Providing an holistic approach, Sam is able to work collaboratively with families, colleagues and professionals to provide the best support. She has empowered us as parents to feel confident and informed, while ensuring my daughter receives the provisions and support she is entitled to. Sam is exceptionally knowledgeable and supportive when it comes to navigating the complexities of SEN processes and entitlements. She has guided us through Education, Health and Care Plans, including initial applications, annual reviews, and ensuring that my daughter’s needs are clearly represented and met. Sam has also assisted us with PIP applications, providing both practical advice and emotional reassurance during what can often feel like a daunting and emotional process.  SEN processes can sometimes feel complex and overwhelming but Sam has the ability to break down complex information, advocate effectively, and remain calm and compassionate making her such an invaluable support. Any team or family would be extremely fortunate to have Sam supporting their child/children. Her continued passion for helping SEN children thrive is evident in everything they achieve, and her impact is both immediate and long-lasting. She is honestly like a surrogate mum to our daughter and she adores her time with Sam.
